We need a Congress that will execute the power and the duty given to it by the Constitution to address lawless presidents and miscreant executive officials. In other words: IMPEACH. THEM. ALL.

I totally agree the whole corrupt mess needs to go but the worry is how far do the corrupt tendrils go can the national and international affect be curbed .
I moved here from sane Canada because my late husband moved us here as he was in an American grad school program and then our son was born here and things were good we were happy about our decision and then this corrupt pos gets elected by all the stupid people and so...

If you are referring to Article 2 Section 4…the President, Vice President and ALL Civil Officers…do not leave out Peter Thiel, Stephen Miller, Elon Musk, etc. There is also a corrupt SCOTUS. What is your stance on ICE? Because they need to be abolished and held accountable for human rights violations and murder. Members of Congress, whether Democrat or Republican, if they were actively participating in or complicit with this regime, also need to be held accountable. They also need to stop accepting AIPAC. No foreign government should have any influence over our Representatives. They were elected to serve the people!
Yes! They work for US!! And so far, they are failing. Too many of them are kowtowing to a dictator, and the American people are paying the price for it. Too many in Congress are now representing the corporations that bought them, instead of doing what is right for the People. We are going to need enforceable guardrails in place…along with term limits for Judges. Nothing in government should be a lifetime appointment!
I’m just hoping that the Democratic Party has it in their head that this president is not gonna leave on his own. He’s gonna stop the November elections. He’s gonna call some emergency bullshit. Do we have a plan on what’s gonna happen if he tries that and you know he will because if he loses, he knows he’s gonna be impeached
I absolutely agree with your sentiment. He create more chaos, if that’s even remotely possible. But the republicans currently control both chambers of congress. And SCOTUS high-fived djt and opened the door to endless gerrymandering to rig the midterms.
AND if I recall correctly, the house democrats actually impeached djt, TWICE, in January 2021. And what did the republican controlled senate do?
Instead of honoring their oaths to protect and defend the constitution and the rule of law, and instead of indicting, convicting, and removing him from office, they looked the other way, yawned, picked their teeth and opted out.
And THEN, republicans actually had the brazen audacity to RE-ELECT him as a convicted felon/ sexual predator!
And if the democrats take control of the House, they will definitely impeach him. Rightfully so.
So, call me crazy, but I don’t think the democrats are the primary problem…
Agreed but it’s so worrying and I guess I get so sick of hearing the Democrats condemning their republican behavior and votes, etc. just yeah it just gets old because it just gets worse and worse and worse. Our four fathers never anticipated that the Republicans in Congress would go along with everything. It’s just insane.
And for the record, I had just turned 13 when JFK was assassinated and I was glued to the tv, horrified by what happened. And I’ve been a political junkie since then.
And I’ve always been registered as an independent. I vote for the best people, their values, their integrity, not part line, until the last election because of djt. He’s a monster, a weapon of mass destruction. We cannot let him take over our country and destroy our democracy!
They don't even try to hide it. They know the Republicans will defend them. They have had enough opportunities to do their job and to stop the horrors of this administration and they have opted not to. They made a decision to be complicit. I don't understand how people don't have that reality check. The fact that some of the people Trump *chose* for the primaries have won, even against incumbents really does disturbs me to the core.
Short of an armed bloody revolution, none of these people are ever going to get impeached by the Congress because they're all being paid off one way or the other. Saying it over and over again will not make it happen.
I think when we keep saying it, it makes people think they've actually done something about it, and of course, we haven't, but it tends to diffuse the anger associated with this problem. We need to act on the problem, not diffuse the anger.

I’m not sure I’d define what they’re doing is “outplaying us”. I’d likely call it cheating, rigging, breaking the law, bribing officials, threatening, intimidating and suppressing voters…
There’s a couple more steps needed: Impeach, convict, remove, repeat. Extra points for inserting “incarcerate” after “remove.”
